She’s still grieving the loss of her brother, and she’s also dealing with the guilt of killing their nanny, who had discovered the truth about Joe. She’s trying to keep it together for the sake of her daughter, but it’s clear that she’s struggling.
She receives a package from Joe, which includes a book that he’s written about his past. She’s shocked to read about his previous murders and realizes that he’s still out there, somewhere. She decides to hire a private investigator to track him down.
Joe’s Plan Backfires
Back in Madre Linda, Joe’s plan to get rid of Natalie’s husband doesn’t go as planned. He follows him to a bar and tries to poison him, but he accidentally poisons the wrong person. The man dies, and Joe realizes that he’s made a huge mistake.
He tries to cover up his tracks, but the police start to investigate the death. Joe becomes paranoid that he’s going to get caught, and he starts to spiral out of control.
